The drawbacks are hot temperatures and the fact that it's peak tourism season, which also means a higher price on accommodation. The fall and spring seasons are milder in both temperature and tourist arrivals, which is perfect if you plan to take long walks and experience the city's locales. Winter is the least crowded season for Baltimore and the prices for hotel reservations are at their lowest, but be aware of the cold weather and prepare accordingly: the temperature can go as low as 30 degrees Fahrenheit (-1 degree Celsius).
